Caramel Glaze

Glaze/Drizzle

Measure out the following:

  • 1500 mL caramel (dulce de leche)
  • 400 mL cold water

which is approximately:

  • 4 cups of caramel
  • 1 cup of water
  1. In a microwaveable bowl or pitcher, combine dulce de leche and water.
  2. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir well with spoon or spatula.
  3. Repeat the previous step until the mixture is smooth. (Should drip off back off spoon or spatula in a drizzle like consistency.)
  4. Transfer to metal tin.
  5. Store in fridge until ready for use.

This glaze will need to be warm in order to coat the donuts.
