Caramel Glaze

Measure out the following:
- 1500 mL caramel (dulce de leche)
- 400 mL cold water
which is approximately:
- 4 cups of caramel
- 1 cup of water
- In a microwaveable bowl or pitcher, combine dulce de leche and water.
- Microwave for 1 minute. Stir well with spoon or spatula.
- Repeat the previous step until the mixture is smooth. (Should drip off back off spoon or spatula in a drizzle like consistency.)
- Transfer to metal tin.
- Store in fridge until ready for use.
This glaze will need to be warm in order to coat the donuts.
